"Digitals" are a must when looking to move your career from instagram to professional.

Why Are Modeling Digitals Necessary? Digitals allow clients and agencies to see what you as a model look like naturally. These un-retouched images are the standard for the modeling industry and signed models typically update their digitals every 3-4 months, or if there are major changes to their overall look. ( i.e. change in hair color or length.)

It is important to keep them on file so submitting to agencies or communicating with clients will be easier.

How to submit digitals to an agency

Digitals, also known as polaroids, are a must for any model who is looking to take their career from Instagram to a professional. Digitals give you a leg up in submissions and your book. Images should be as clear as possible - not blurry or too dark. Also keep your posing pretty simple. The point of digitals is for them to be able to see your body, so you don't want to do any weird angles or poses that may distort your proportions.

**NEVER** send digitals in lingerie, partially nude, or fully nude. If anyone asks for those type of images, it’s a HUGE red flag.

How to Take Digitals

You’re beautiful. So flaunt it! Bring that confidence out in your shots so booking agents viewing the digitals can see your personality shine through!

How to Submit Digitals to Clients/Agencies

Clearly title each shot in the email so the clients can click on the image & know exactly what shot you sent. Make sure all their requirements are fulfilled before sending the shots--if you don’t feel the angle is right, check online/their submission guidelines for reference photos. When submitting, make sure to include 2 shots showing who you are or convey your personality through a politely and professionally constructed email.
